Città della Scienza at the SMAU 2016 with the SIEE program in support of technological cooperation with China

On Thursday 15 December 2016, within SMAU 2016 Naples on 15 and 16 December 2016 at the Mostra d’Oltremare, Città della Scienza held a Workshop titled “Startup, innovation and internationalization: the Sino-Italian Exchange Event (SIEE) program in supporting the technological cooperation with China”, moderated by Federico Pedrocchi of Radio 24.

Anne-Marie Bruyas, Responsible for International Relations, presented the regional program for internationalization with China, examining the main characteristics of the event, realized thanks to the contribution of Campania Region according to the Smart Specialization Strategy (RIS3) priorities.

In particular, Campania Region’s guide lines in terms of internationalization with China were well introduced by Valeria Fascione, Region Councillor for Startup Innovation and Internationalization, who stressed the importance of working in a coordinated way in three strategic fields: human capital, research and productive sectors.

Moreover, several professionals presented their direct experiences in internationalization  with China: Mario Malinconico from the Institute for Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials of the National Research Council, Eva Milella from IMAST, Gianpaolo Varchetta from Marea Scarl, Antonello Cutolo from TOP IN, Mauro Finicelli from Sorriso Scarl, Sergio Minucci from the Second University of Naples, Mariavaleria Del Tufo from the University of Naples Suororsola Benincasa and Flavio Farroni from Megaride.

Città della Scienza attended the SMAU Fair in Naples with a booth in the exhibition area, raising a strong interest in the attendees at the Fair.
