Wednesday 6th April, the General Director He Zhenfu, with an institutional delegation of the  Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), visited Città della Scienza. “We are glad to collaborate with Città della Scienza that we consider an excellence in the scientific and innovation field, not only at national level. We trust in our cooperation program that has been producing more and more evident results both on institutional, economic and commercial level”- General Director He Zhenfu said.

At the meeting, together with the CEO of Città della Scienza Vincenzo Lipardi and the General Director Luigi Amodio, prominent representatives of Italian institutions participated, among which the Minister for Internationalization, Startup and Innovation of Campania Regional Government Valeria Fascione, Chancellor of Second University of Naples Giuseppe Paolisso, Director of Innovation and Education Area of Confindustria Nicoletta Amodio, Director of DMSTC-CNR Luigi Ambrosio, President of CIRA Luigi Carrino and Director of  the Galileo Galilei Institute in Chongqing Alberto Di Minin, Carla Langella as representative of the Industrial Design Department and the Delegate for the Internationalization projects of Second University of Naples Sergio Minucci, President of Svimez Adriano Giannola, Delegates for China of University of Naples Federico II and University of Naples “L’Orientale”, Massimiliano Campi and Marisa Siddivò, Director of Internationalization of Campania Regional Government Fiorella Ciullo.

The visit was the opportunity to hold discussions about the 2016 Internationalization program among China and Italy in the field of research and innovation. The 2016 program will have its highest visibility in the Science, Technology & Innovation Week that will take place in Italy this year from 24th to 27th October, at the presence of the Italian Minister Stefania Giannini and the Chinese Minister of S&T Wan Gang.

The visit of the MOST delegation represented an important milestone, in preparation to the China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair, from 21st to 23rd April 2016, that will have the participation of Minister Stefania Giannini and many Italian representatives of the research area.

Members of the MOST delegation were: Director General He Zhenfu, Deputy Director General Zhou Guolin, Deputy Director General Ma Hongjian, Director Du Zhihua, International Cooperation Official Duan Yuying; for the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Italy, Scientific Counselor Cao Jianye, First Secretary Han Cangqiong, First Secretary Gai Hongbo, Second Secretary Yin Shengxin.
