Last May the 23rd the meeting of the Coordination Board was held at the Hall of Communication of the Ministry of Education, University and Research to discuss the 2016 activities of the research-innovation systems’ internationalization program.
The main focuses were the organization of the 2016 edition of the Italy-China Science, Technology and Innovation Week, that will be held from 25 to 27 October in Bergamo, Bologna and Naples, and the National Technological Clusters’ mission, that will be held next July.
Wide participation at the Coordination Committee where many Ministries attended, other than the Ministry of Education, University and Research, with the presence of the Director Fabrizio Cobis and the Chief of the Technical Secretariat Oscar Pasquali,there were also the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environment and Protection of Land and Sea, as well as the main entities involved in the program, including Confindustria and the main Italian universities and research centers.
The program will be rich and substantial, with the thematic steps of Bergamo, focused on Manufacturing 4.0 and Health Technologies, and Bologna, focused on Agrifood, other than the news of the 2016 program, such as the very first edition of the Italian-Chinese startup competition, the workshop area for makers and the exhibition area on the smart cities and communities topic.
Lastly there were illustrated the mission proposed to the National Technological Clusters as it was proposed in the Joint Statement signed by Ministries Wan Gang and Stefania Giannini, to visit and meet similar realities in the cities of Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi’An, Chongqing, Chengdu and Tianjin.
