Yesterday in Leopoldo Massimilla hall at Federico II university in Piazzale Tecchio, ten on twenty-one innovative ideas were presented by young researchers who participated in Campania NewSteel “Dalla ricerca all’innovazione” experimental accompanying and support program for innovative technological and business ideas coming fron Neapolis- Polytechnic School and the Basic Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II. The program realized by Campania NewSteel, certified Incubator under the 2.0 Growth Decree – promoted by Federico II and the Città della Scienza – to support the birth and development of innovative startups and spin-offs in Central South Italy. The meeting was attended by the President of Campania NewSteel Edoardo Cosenza, Massimo Varrone, Campania NewSteel Manager, Piero Salatino, President of Neapolis, Giovanni Sannia, Coordinator of Neapolis Phd. School, Mario Raffa, National PNI National Advisor, National Innovation Award 2017, Mariangela Contursi, General Director of Campania NewSteel, President of the Industrial Union of Naples, Ambrogio Prezioso, and Managing Director of Vertis sgr, Amedeo Giurazza, managing the first Italian fund for technology transfer in universities activated on Itatech. The meeting saw more than one hundred attendances among the key players in the regional innovation ecosystem and the world of research, finance and enterprise.
