The mission of the Minister Profumo at Beijing : the Sino Italian Exchange Event is a platform for exchanges that strenghten cooperation between the two countries on research and innovation

The Italian Minister of Education, University and Research, Francesco Profumo, and the Minister of Science and Technology of China, Wan Gang, signed on June 19 in Beijing a joint statement to strenghten the “China-Italy Innovation Forum”, promoting a synergy with platforms and bilateral initiatives, in particular the Sino Italian Exchange Event – SIEE.

The SIEE, event of exchange on innovative fields promoted primarily by Fondazione Idis – Città della Scienza and by a qualified national organizing committee, will take place in Naples, November 20 to 22, and will focus on technologies and innovations for the Smart Cities and on innovative clusters.

B2B, roundtables, pre-arranged meetings between Italy and China are the strong point of SIEE, that in the joint statement signed by the two Ministries becomes a hub for cooperative activities of the “China-Italy Innovation Forum”. The next stage of the Forum will be in Italy at autumn.
