Città della Scienza at the 25th edition of the ECSITE Annual Conference

The 25th edition of the ECSITE Annual Conference opened on May 22 at The Hague, in the Netherlands. ECSITE is the network of European science museums, which includes Città della Scienza, one of its most active member. The conference, opened by Queen Beatrix, is attended by a delegation of Città della Scienza, who will participate in different sessions, presenting and discussing current and future projects and activities of the Science Centre in Naples.

Meanwhile, during a meeting of the network’s Board, where the Chief Executive of Città della Scienza, Vincenzo Lipardi, also sits, has been decided that the next edition of the Euro-Mediterranean Summer School on science communication promoted by ECSITE and the network of science museums in North Africa and the Middle East, will be held at Città della Scienza in the summer 2015. The school,  whose first edition was held in Granada in 2013, is an important event for Naples and the international scientific culture.
