A delegation from the City of Science takes part to the Grassroots Women International Academy, a 3-day workshop on women empowerment at globally level promoted by the Huairou Commission, the International body accredited to the United Nations that works on this issues supporting coalitions and global networking between Grassroots Women associations over 50 countries in order to strengthen their capacity to influence political spaces. The results of the workshop have led to the development of final recommendations that the group, made up of about 60 women from 7 different countries around the world, had delivered to the Gender Equolity Action Assembly (GEAA) the world assembly of women which took place on Sunday the 2 of September during the World Urban Forum 6 in the presence of the major representatives of local and International institutions, authorities ,stakeholders, of UN-Habit partners, grassroots organizations and civil society.
