From 12 to 18 January Città della Scienza, on behalf of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, went to China on a mission to meet with the main Chinese partners of the China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Program, the internationalization program between Italy and China on science, technology and innovation coordinated by Città della Scienza.
On the occasion of the mission it was held a meeting with the partners of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, where the Secretary General of Città della Scienza Vincenzo Lipardi met with the President of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology Ma Lin and other high level personalities for discussing the current situation of the cooperation between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and Italy, as well as to discuss on the 2017 edition of the Sino-Italian Exchange Event, the internationalization program of R&I systems promoted by the Campania Region.
It was also held a meeting with the Beijing Municipal Commission for Science and Technology’s leaders to discuss the organization of the activities scheduled in the 2017 edition such as the China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Week, promoted by the Ministry of Education and the Chinese Ministry of Science & Technology, that will be held next October in China, and the Mission of the National Technological Cluster scheduled for next May.
Furthermore, the meeting with the International Technology Transfer Network was also extremely fruitful. It was attended by the Secretary General John Zhang and the main points of discussion were the cooperation activities for Italian and Chinese startups and incubators and soft-landing actions scheduled for the 2017.
In conclusion, Città della Scienza attended the III Meeting of the Italian Business Community in China at the Yanqi Lake in Beijing from 13 to 15 January 2017, organized by the Italian Embassy in Beijing, the ITA-Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China. The meeting was attended by all the high-level diplomatic officers in China and by many representatives coming from universities and enterprises to discuss on China transformation and Italy’s renovation, as well as to exchange points of view about the Italian System’s action in China, as well as to develop concrete and shared projects.
