After more than 200 years since the birth of Charles Darwin and his revolutionary theories the number of his “enemies” keeps increasing. Politics, religious, philosophers and free thinkers “attack” his figure and thought, misrepresenting his theories or applying them to areas completely different from the natural world.
In order to contrast this attitude worldwide institutions organize events every February “Darwin Day”, promoting the thought and the theories of the great English naturalist, topicality of his scientific method and on latest research results applied to the evolution of living species.
Indeed at Città della Scienza we have a Darwin Week! From Tuesday 9th to Sunday 14th february, 2016, in Science Centre will be able to understand and investigate aspects of the life and work of Charles Darwin through presentations by experts, themed guided tours, games, interactive demonstrations and workshops for the little ones .
