Emme Summer School 2017 at Città della Scienza ends successfully

The last day of this successful edition of the Emme Summer School is just over! It was an unforgettable experience for the thirty participants, for speakers and for everyone involved.

Day 5 of Emme Summer School 2017 started at Città della Scienza with the workshop held by Carlos Catalão Alves from Ciencia Viva. In this workshop were exposed examples of IBSE (Inquiry based science education).

Ayah Younis from the Children’s Museum Jordan shared her experiences through an interesting workshop on designing activities for children.

To complete a culture and sharing experience like Emme Summer School 2017, the participants visited the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (MANN). With one of the richest collections in the world, MANN is a true Italian cultural gem.

The specific goal of the Summer School is to establish a Euro-Mediterranean and Middle East Framework for science centres and museums to reinforce their capacities, strengthen dialogue and exchange amongst the participating institutions, and increase the community of players working for public engagement with science in the region.

Five days of workshops and practical lessons, an ice-break event, 30 participants from 10 countries, 23 speakers and lots of sharing moments.

Città della Scienza is proud to have taken part to this great experience!
