Saturday January 6th, 2018, from 10 to 6 pm, we will celebrate Epiphany together! A day full of science and entertainment, in the tradition of Città della Scienza: laboratories, experiments, star gazing and 3 science shows for adults and children!
In detail:
- Observations of the sky with the telescope in the square of music and show on comets, by Neapolitan Astrophiles Union;
- The Epiphany comet. Show and stellar projections by the Neapolitan Astrophiles Union
- 3 Science show by “Le Nuvole”: Epiphany is a question of chemistry (with curiosity and scientific demonstrations on the gifts of the Magi Kings and the sweets of the Befana); Epiphany riding a comet (with spectacular special effects of water vapor …) and INcalzaNO insects (to watch the secrets of these incredible infallible predators and masterpieces of camouflage);
- Scientific demonstrations of molecular biology to illustrate with simple activities the technique of electrophoresis, a cure of the Department of Biology of the University of Naples Federico II;
- Microscopic observations of marine organisms with fluorescence, a cure of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station;
- Painting workshops and optical illusions for children;
- The Circus of Rudinì, an animation show that enchants everyone.
