A weekend dedicated to art and science that for too long have been considered as two parallel tracks with no point of contact. A completely wrong concept! A great artist is often a scientist who has learned the techniques and has a perfect knowledge of the materials he needs for his art.
To the case of Leonardo da Vinci, the scientist artist who is celebrating this year the 500th anniversary of his death, is dedicated the great new activity of this weekend: Bricks4kidz® workshop where it will be possible to assemble and play with one of the machines designed, the catapult: the Bricks4kidz® model reproduces with the bricks and the technical parts LEGO® the invention of the great Leonardo!
In collaboration with Mineral Art Gallery – MAG this weekend will begin DIPinSe A design for Science: Sketch for science a laboratory to create a scientific short film that will last several weeks after which the drawings created by children will be exhibited in the exhibition areas and subject to evaluation by visitors. The winner will be able to watch his short film become a permanent animation video at the PaleoMare exhibition in Mag.
Free space for imagination and creativity through many workshops and activities to celebrate the close union between art and science
To experiment in drawing, painting, sculpture and modeling and to free the artist that is in each of us will be an exciting experience.
As always, guided tours of Corporea include the Museum of the Human Body, the permanent exhibitions The House of Insects and the Sea, the 2D and 3D shows of the Planetarium.
During the “Activities” candies will be given kindly offered by Fallani srl, sweets since 1926!
