More than 5000 people were at Città della Scienza on March 4th, in occasion of the second anniversary of the arson that destroyed its Science Centre. A day to remember that disaster as well as to look at future; starting from 10 in the morning hundreds of students had musical contest, labs in Galilei Theatre 104. The afternoon was the moment of University, Research Centres (Federico II, Tigem and Cnr).
At 6 pm the successful opening of the exhibition “Focus”, where the emotional shots of Antonio Biasucci, Fabio Donato, Mimmo Jodice e Raffaela Mariniello showed all the tragedy of the fire as well as an important disposition towards future. There were all highest institutional positions – Secretary of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Graziano Del Rio, Vice Mayor of the City of Naples, Tommaso Sodano, and Vice-President of the Campania Region, Guido Trombetti. Short and intense have been the words of the President of the Fondazione Idis, Vittorio Silvestrini, “restore the spirit of the place.”
Then the press conference of Professor Purini outlined how necessary is to develop places and territories through culture and knowledge always respecting environment.
At night there was the big concert of Daniele Sepe and International Brigada involving public in dancing and singing in rhythms and sounds of the different countries.
