MOVE! 22 and 23 June at Museum

Life is movement, movement is life.

The week end of June 22 and 23 will be dedicated to the discovery of movement starting from the physical to the biological aspects up to the technologies now put into practice by man to explore far beyond the boundaries of the Solar System!

At school we learned that what differentiates animals and plants is the ability to move. Technically, even plants can make simple movements, but animals (including humans) show this desire linked to the need to feed, reproduce and colonize new spaces.

Through workshops, activities and live experiments we will analyze the theme of the week at 360 degrees; in Moving Workshop it is good to find out how the physical exercise positively influences the degree of health in humans, through energeticaMENTE playing activity we will set the muscles in motion and learn how to train the mind with memory games and themed crosswords.

Thanks to the participation of the Department of Biology, University of Naples Federico II with the BioMoleCularLAB activity, we will learn to mix and separate macromolecules, colors and pigments from fruit and vegetables … by challenging the force of gravity!

 Great attention also to the main means of locomotion, as they are close to the inauguration of the new temporary exhibition of Città della Scienza, #Bike_IT, focusing on the most ecological of all: Bycicle!
