Napoli Science Art & Philosophy – Il Sabato delle Idee

On Saturday, February 4, 10.30 am, at Fondazione SDN Sala Convegni in Via Emanuele Gianturco 113 will take place the inaugural event of 2012 edition of Napoli Science Art & Philosophy – il Sabato delle Idee, dedicated to “Research in the Mediterranean and in the Southern Italy”.

Sabato delle Idee is promoted by Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza, Suor Orsola Benincasa University, Neapolitan School of Fine Arts, SDN – Nuclear Diagnostics Institute, Academy of Music San Pietro a Majella, Italian Institute for Philiosophical Studies, PAN – Palazzo delle Arti di Napoli. The event has been organized for favouring a discussion between the Ministry of Education, University and Scientific Research, and the italian Regions of Southern Italy falling within the 2007-2013 EU programme for the European regions with a GDP per capita lower then 75% of EU average (Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sicilia and Basilicata). The programme, “Convergence Objective“, aims to promote development and structural adjustment in these regions, creating the favourable conditions for growth and employment, investments in human and physical resources, innovation and development in the knowledge society.

At the conference table will sit the Minister of Education, University and Scientific Research, Francesco Profumo, the President of Regione Campania, Stefano Caldoro, the Presidente of Regione Basilicata, Vito De Filippo, the University and Research Assessor of Regione Calabria, Mario Caligiuri, the University and Research Assessor of Regione Campania, Guido Trombetti, and Bernd Ohnesorge, Ceo of Siemens Healthcare.
