It’s ongoing “Exchange of Views“, the European photo contest aimed to promote a comparison between different national realities, enhancing the territorial specificities.
The contest is open to European citizens, more or less experienced photographers, and is a part of a larger project that will last a total of three years, each of them has a specific theme: “Environment and territory” for the year 2012 , “Art and Cultural Heritage” for 2013; “Social” for 2014. The registration for the 2012 edition is ongoing: the deadline is April 30 and the partecipation is free.
Participants must send three photos in jpg format (with the longest edge of 1024 pixels and a resolution of 72; photographs can be BXN and color), accompanied by the form below at scambiodivisionifhoto@gmail.com
The images must contain:
- a title
- name and surname of the author, accompanied by an identifying number (eg lucia _rossi1.jpg; lucia _rossi2.jpg).
The photographs should highlight the problems of the territory through the eyes of those who live there. Specifically, the category “Environment and Territory” refers to the way the places of the city (squares, streets, monuments, buildings, suburbs) are perceived. The winning works will be exhibited in prestigious locations, within group exhibitions, touring circuits in Naples and in campaigns for social purposes.
The project is promoted by the Gesco consortium and the cultura association Campo Libero, in collaboration with Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza and WWF Campania, under the auspices of the Universal Forum of Cultures. The art director is ELIANA ESPOSITO.
