Week end at Città della Scienza

Covid 19 does not stop our desire to learn, know and share knowledge.
Like every weekend, we offer to all Città della Scienza visitors a program based on a different theme.
From Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November it will be possible to take a “fantastic journey between Stars and Nature” through workshops, demonstrations, guided tours and scientific acyivities.
Entrance to the Museum is on time slot 10.15, 11.45, 1.15 and 2.45 pm with visit tours in total safety with guided tours to Corporea Exhibition – Interactive Human Body Museum: a fantastic journey to discover our body by listening to the rhythm of the heart, discovering the connections of neurons and many other curiosities about how our body works are waiting for you!
In “Heaven in a room” Laboratory: it will be possible to discover which are the Constellations that populate the celestial vault; to learn to recognize those visible in this period and try to build a true celestial projector with raw materials; while in “The Animals of the Garden” in the company of a naturalist we will discover the amusing world of animals, from the microscopic ones to those that certainly do not go unnoticed!
Sunday 8 November we will host an important event with prof. Massimo Zollo, professor of Genetics at the Federico II University of Naples, Principal Investigator of CEINGE-Advanced Biotechnologies of Naples and coordinator of the CEINGE Covid19 Task Force. A window on the Coronavirus emergency from what we know today and what to expect.

The museum will be open from 10 am to 5 pm with admission by reservation required.
Entrance to the Museum is from 10 – 1 pm and 2 to 5 pm. Punctuality is recommended in order to take part in all the activities included in the program.
The visit includes a 3-hour tour of Corporea, the museum of human body, a science show and a 2D show at the Planetarium.
In this first phase of reopening, the laboratories are temporarily suspended. 

TICKET
The cost of the reduced single ticket is 5 € (including the Planetarium); admission will be free for healthcare personnel and for citizens of Bagnoli (by reservation).

BOOKING TICKETS
To access the museum, reservations are required, due to the limited number of visitors allowed, and it is recomended to purchase tickets online.
The reservation does not involve additional costs and is also mandatory for those entitled to reductions or free entry.
To book, send an email to contact@cittadellascienza.it indicating name, surname, number of people, mobile number, day of visit and time slot.
Reservations for a visit to the museum on Friday must be received by 1pm the day before; for weekend visits, reservations must be received by 1pm on the previous Friday.

SAFETY MEASURES

Visitor identification data will be collected at the Città della Scienza ticket office.
All visitors, including children, are required to wear masks from the age of 6; disinfectant gel dispensers are available along the route; given the interactive nature of the museum, the use of some exhibits will be not allowed; the temperature will be measured at the entrance to Città della Scienza, access will not be allowed to those with a temperature above 37.5 °.
