The Science Communication Handbook: Science Centres and Science Events was published by Springer, one of the most prestigious international scientific publishing house, the book is a collective work signed by Fondazione Idis Città della Scienza team.
The idea started from activities developed in the framework of an international cooperation project which realized in 2008 a Science Festival in Owerri in Nigeria co-designed by Città della Scienza with Nigerian Students.
The training course for these Nigerians students, systematized, was the theme for the development of this book.
The book is therefore a practical handbook written for those people who wish to design, promote and implement scientific communication activities as tools of empowerment and a sustainable and responsible development.
