Wednesday, March 18th and Friday, March 20th teachers will have Botany and Zoology laboratories at Città della Scienza, managed by experts from the Fondazione Idis-Città della Scienza:

MACRO AND MICRO VEGETABLE WORLD
Macroscopic and microscopic observations, experiments easy to perform, using materials of easy availability in order to analyze some recurring phenomena and to find out “how they are made” and “how they work”, we will analyze fresh and dried findings and will observe under the microscope cool preparations.

INSECTS STECCO BREEDING
During the course will show you how to set up a terrarium for the breeding of Stecco insects. Once realized, in fact, you can make a number of observations in the classroom on the metabolism of insects, their life cycle, on the strategies of defense against predators, the phases of sexual and asexual reproduction and breeding strategies, with hooks to the theory of Darwin on natural selection.
