Città della Scienza and Campania New Steel at EBN Open ecosystems for Innovation

On Friday, July 7th, the 26th edition of the EBN-network conference of about 150 business innovation centers and 100 other organizations – “Open Ecosystems for Innovation“, took  place in France, in the town of Enghien-les-Bain.

Yesterday, during the panel session on “Industry 4.0″, Mariano Iadanza, head of the BIC of Città della Scienza had a talk on D.RE.A.M. Fablab of Città della Scienza – an advanced research, innovation and training lab – and two new concrete opportunities. The first is the D.RE.A.M. Academy 2018, an international advanced training program focused on four areas, advanced architecture and manufacturing, biomedical, design and fashion, cultural heritage and museum installations. The second is Campania NewSteel, the first incubator of  South Italy certified under the 2.0 Growth Decree, promoted by the University of Naples “Federico II” and Fondazione Idis-Città della Scienza. Campania NewSteel is set up as a highly qualified hub of innovative spaces, technological infrastructure, specialist services, and international relations for enterprise creation and technology transfer, serving the university system, research and business of Central and South Italy.

Mariano Iadanza closed his speech with  call launched by Campania NewSteel for the selection of business ideas in the field of digital manufacturing to support and support in their development through specialized services such as dedicated tutoring and mentoring, coaching, networking , Fast prototyping at D.RE.AM Fablab of Città della Scienza, internationalization and protection and enhancement of intellectual property.

Città della Scienza – member of the EBN network since 2003 and a representative of the Italian BICs in the Board of Directors – will host the next Ebn Tech Camp – the main annual technical event promoted by the EBN network on October 5th  and 6th. Incubation professionals of acceleration, coming from across Europe and beyond, will meet for mutual learning, exchange of experiences and the enhancement of technical know-how.
