Cyfest art and technology festival for the first time in Italy – From June 22nd to July 1st, 2018,

The largest art and technology festival in Russia, made by the St. Petersburg Cyland Media Art Lab, will arrive for the first time in Italy, in Caserta. From June 22nd  to  July 1st, 2018, the Royal Palace of Caserta will host the final round of the world tour of the 11th edition of CYFEST (Cyberfest), an itinerant festival that started this year from St. Petersburg (RU), with stops in New York (USA) , Beijing (CH) and Brighton (UK).

CYFEST is organized every year by Cyland Media Art Lab, a non-profit organization founded in 2007, based in St. Petersburg and New York, which aims to promote the interaction between new forms of art and the most advanced technologies. In its 11 years of activity, CYFEST has created bridges and cultural exchanges between Russia and the rest of the world, hosting 236 artists and 37 curators from USA, Germany, Japan, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Finland, Italy, Philippines and organizing exhibitions in Moscow, New York, Bogotá, Mexico City, London, Berlin, Tokyo and many other cities around the world, collaborating with prestigious partners such as The State Hermitage Museum, Pratt Institute, Leonardo / ISAST and the NCCA of San Petersburg. “This year the Cyfest decided to invest in the Campania region, focusing the spotlight on the Royal Palace of Caserta. In order for this initiative to be a unique opportunity for growth for all, we are building a vast network of partners from Caserta to the main cultural institutions of Naples, including the Campania Region, Museo MADRE, Città della Scienza, Fondazione Banco Napoli “, explains the curator Isabella Indolfi.
