Futuro Remoto 2019: DNA THE MUSICAL SHOW ABOUT SCIENCE

Making a show and disseminating science is possible, “DNA” is the real proof the new musical and scientific dissemination project that will be staged on Saturday November 23rd, 2019 at 6 pm in the Newton hall of Città della Scienza.

DNA the show that makes science play is the result of the meeting of AIRC, the Cancer Research Foundation, with Deproducers, Vittorio Cosma, Gianni Maroccolo, Max Casacci and Riccardo Sinigallia, with the precious collaboration of the philosopher and frontman, for the occasion, of ‘Telmo Pievani.

The evening event of Futuro Remoto where unreleased musical pieces will be presented, evocative images and a special scenography will have the power to transform a scientific conference into an exciting and immersive experience for everyone.
The public through the narration of Pievani – philosopher and expert on the theory of evolution – near to musicians on stage, will have the opportunity to retrace the history that unites every human being, from the formation of the first cells to the appearance of Homo Sapiens, up to the new achievements of genetics. The result is a rigorous but accessible path to the discovery of some of the most fascinating subjects that man has ever confronted, which underlines the value of scientific research both as a fundamental tool against cancer and as a metaphor for the improvement process of themselves through knowledge.
The realization of the project was also possible thanks to the support of Banco BPM, the institutional partner of AIRC, which supports “DNA” to promote scientific dissemination and public involvement in supporting cancer research.
This is the research we must support!
