A big fire broke out in the night of Wednesday and Thursday at the “Cité des Sciences et de l’industrie” in Villette Park, in the nineteenth district of Paris. The fire control was not operating because there were works in progress. Causes are still unknown. Bruno Maquart, president of Univers Sciences (including Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie and the Discovery Palace) said: “We make every effort to re-open as soon as possible.” Science City expresses its full solidarity to all the Parisian colleagues.
