Città della Scienza, in partnership with the Italian Foundation of Architects and Engineers, has issued the public competition announcement for the design and construction of the new Science Centre. The announcement is available on the European Official Gazette no. OJ / S S218 and on the Italian Official Gazette no. 130. The competition is open both to Italian architects and engineers who perform professional activity according to laws, as well as architects and engineers who have residence in a member state of the European Union and are admitted to the profession according to the rules in force in their country of origin.
The competition will take place in two stages: a first one where patricipants will present an outline in order to highlight the main ideas of their plans; a second one, among the projects selected in the first phase, where the competitors are due to write a preliminary draft. The winning design will be selected among these finalists.
