LUIGI AMODIO
in the Kuratorium, Deutsches Museum

Luigi Amodio, Director of Città della Scienza of Naples, has been elected in the Kuratorium of the Deutsches Museum of Monaco of Bavaria, one of the leading European and world science museums.

The Kuratorium, that is a board of directors, is chaired by the President of the German Republic Joachim Gauck and Chancellor Angela Merkel, and brings together university professors, managers and directors of international science museums; held numerous positions of great relevance for the life of the Deutsches Museum both scientific and administrative, including the election of the General Director.

The relationship between Città della Scienza and the Deutsches Museum is an old and established relationship started in 1992, when the Neapolitan structure established the first contacts with the German museum; a partnership that continues today in many European projects and European network activities ECSITE, of which Città della Scienza is an active member.

Recently Wolfgang Heckl, Director of the Deutsches Museum and Vincenzo Lipardi, CEO of Città della Scienza visited Mons. Gianfranco Ravasi, to launch a joint project on the relationship between science and faith.
