Presentation of the book “The climate traps”

Climate change is a daily topic, the effects of which are increasingly evident and devastating.
The consequences of what is probably the greatest threat to humanity are already being seen, cruel and ruthless: melting of glaciers, rising sea levels, acidification of the oceans, desertification and loss of biodiversity.
The effects of climate change will worsen year by year if we do not abandon old bad habits and start to safeguard the planet we live in.
Città della Scienza, always attentive to the issue of climate change, adheres to the educational project “Environment and fight against climate change”, promoted by the Presidency of the Regional Council and by “Infiniti Mondi” association, which provides for the creation of a training course i in which the students of the high schools are protagonists for the elaboration of a proposed Law from below on the theme of the fight against climate change.

As part of the project tomorrow Tuesday 4 March 2020 at 4 pm at the Sol Lewit room there will be the national preview presentation of the book “The climate traps” in the presence of the two authors Gianni Silvestrini and Giovan Battista Zorzoli which will be followed by a talking with industry experts and project tutors.
The aim of the competition is to focus on information-training of environmental education but above all to stimulate the direct protagonism of the younger generations on such an important topic.
