CAMPANIA AND BEIJING FOR THE RESEARCH ON COVID 19

Struggling the pandemic emergency caused by Covid 19 through international cooperation and the search for innovative solutions will be the subject of the first appointment of the XIV edition of the Sino-Italian Exchange Event, the regional program of internationalization of research-innovation systems promoted by the Campania Region and by Beijing Association for Science and Technology, and coordinated by Città della Scienza with the Beijing Science & Technology Consulting Center.
The webinar will focus on the key areas of the scientific and technological answer to the Covid-19 health emergency, where research is making great strides on the knowledge of Sars-Cov-2, improving epidemiology and public health, working on new therapeutic approaches, genetic studies and technologies for patient monitoring and care.
In the meeeting will participate in the meeting: coordinators of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention and of the Covid19 Crisis Unit of the Campania Region, as well as Italian and Chinese representatives of research institutes and universities discussing on four main topics:
• Methods and diagnostic tests
• Genomic analysis of the SARS-CoV-2 virus
• New therapeutic approaches for the treatment of Covid 19
• Use of digital technologies for the management of epidemiological emergencies
