The Board of Ecsite at Città della Scienza

Board di ECSITE was at Città della Scienza on March 4th to express the solidarity of the whole International community.
Ecsite, the European network of science centers and museums, is the main network of scientific communication in Europe, counting on 400 members, including museums Science Centre and institutions hosting every year more than 40 million European visitors.
It includes the most prestigious institutions for example, Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris, the London Science Museum or the Deutsches Museum in Monaco.
Aftermath the fire Catherine Franche, Director, and Robert Firmhofer, President came to Naples to witness the disappointment of the international community sharing solidarity. This solidarity has been transmitted in the past two years in various forms of support, from borrowing of display elements, the realization of events in various institutions.

Ecsite presence in the anniversary of the fire is an important symbol as Rosalia Vargas – current Ecsite President – said in her speech, outlining how Città della Scienza has a key role in the social, cultural and economic development of the city of Naples.
Along with Rosalia Vargas and Vincenzo Lipardi, member of the Board of Directors of Ecsite, will be present:
