Unconference Night – Transmaterial
Friday, February 24th , 2017 D.RE.A.M. FabLab of Città della Scienza (Coroglio street 57, Naples) opens its doors to a double event dedicated to innovation:
D.RE.A.M. Cafe – from 3 to 6 pm
An informal meeting to present D.RE.A.M. Academy and the four focus of its educational program (advanced architecture and manufacturing, biomedical, fashion and design, cultural heritage and museum installations). Participants can contact the help desk to receive informations on the international advanced training course in order to fill out the application and apply for scholarships.
IV Unconference Night – Transmaterial – 6 pm
An open discussion on innovation. Research on the advanced manufacturing technologies goes together with the development and research of new materials. New digital manufacturing performance are improving more and more so that a careful and close look at the creation of new materials is necessary. Invisible clothes, self-repairing tissues, nanocrystals, biomaterials and many other studies are bound to change forever our ability to shape the world around us.

Carlo Santulli, Associate Professor of the University of Camerino collaborates with the University of Rome La Sapienza and the University of Studies of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”
Vito Mocella, researcher at CNR since 2002, has worked at the European Synchrotron (ESRF), carries out research in optics X-ray, of photonic crystals and metamaterials.
