This weekend, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September, in addition to ordinary visits to the interactive museum of the human body Corporea and shows of our extraordinary Planetarium, at Città della Scienza it will be possible to participate in the fun laboratory activities carried out in collaboration with Le Nuvole Scienza. Through two “space” activities the most adventurous will travel in the infinite cosmos to experience a thousand adventures: Spazio Vitale is a fun science for having a journey into other worlds to verify “habitability”, while in the laboratory the Hubble Space Telescope the most creative ones can make a 3D model of the most famous of telescopes.
SPAZIO VITALE – GAME OF SCIENCE
Saturday 12 and Sunday 12 and 4 pm
A game-story of existence in all dimensions lead by the science communicators of Le Nuvole. The players approach a scientific story-game table, centered on the birth of life on our planet and on the possibility of its existence elsewhere in the cosmos. Winner will have to modify DNA and colonize a “habitable” planet.
DURATION: 60 minutes
TARGET: from 7 years old
The activity can be booked at the Corporea Infopoint
THE HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE – LABORATORY
Saturday 11 am and 3 pm, Sunday 11 am and 3 pm
Hubble Space Telescope: the first and most famous of the telescopes invited by man into space to observe the universe! In orbit at about 570 kilometers high, in 30 years of activity Hubble has allowed us to see the cosmos in a completely new way, thanks to one and a half million images taken by its on-board instruments. Together with the science communicators of Le Nuvole we will create a 1: 100 scale 3D model of this telescope using the tinkering methods (“thinking with your hands”, tinkering to create objects of various kinds using easily available recycled materials). Boys and girls to think about single components and the results obtained by one of the most advanced human technologies.
DURATION: 60 minutes
TARGET: from 8 years old
The activity can be booked at the Corporea Infopoint
