On November 10th, UNESCO celebrates the World Day of Science for Peace and Development, to emphasize the contribution that science offers to promote sustainable development and strengthen the basis for lasting peace.
This event, organized as every year by Città della Scienza, this year, in collaboration with the National Institute of Nuclear Physics, is held at the Aula Magna of the school Piero Calamandrei Ponticelli.
The meeting, chaired by Pierluigi Paolucci, head of the CMS / LHC at CERN in Geneva, said that science is a common language for all peoples throughout the world.
The conference was attended by national and international guests and ended with an invitation to young students to engage in study and to not consider it as an obligation butas an instrument of freedom..
