Question 1: Point 6 of the tender specifications states, “A statement of commitment is required, from a banking or insurance institution or other entity referred to in Article 93, paragraph 3, of the Code, to issue a final surety bond if the bidder is awarded the contract” . Is this a provisional surety bond?
Answer 1: “A statement of commitment from a banking or insurance institution or other entity referred to in Article 93(3) of the Code to issue a final surety bond is required if the bidder is awarded the contract.”
