The knowledge dissemination activities carried out by Città della Scienza have as their ultimate goal the promotion of scientific citizenship and focus on the relationship between science and society with special attention also given to the relationship between science and art.
Activities are aimed, therefore, at fostering dialogue between society and the scientific, cultural and artistic worlds and are designed and conducted with the awareness that widespread access to knowledge is an essential factor in building a democratic knowledge society.
Sustainability, understood both in reference to all its dimensions, from social to environmental and economic, is taken as the reference value for all activities. Within this framework and perspective, the design and implementation of research and dissemination activities are taken care of. Among these, in particular, the activity of designing museums, exhibitions, exhibits and temporary events in the scientific, cultural and artistic fields is carried out, in line with the technological evolution applied in the museum field, both within the initiatives of Città della Scienza, and for external clients.
