May of Monuments: science on stage at Città della Scienza

On May 3 and 4 and May 24 and 25, 2025 Città della Scienza offers two weekends dedicated to families and children: an engaging experience for audiences of all ages that combines science with the city’s history and invites visitors to discover, explore and interact with Naples’ scientific and cultural heritage. On May 3 and 4 we will celebrate World Astronomy Day with performances at the Planetarium and many workshop activities on the theme of space; while on May 24 and 25 we will celebrate World Biodiversity Day with many creative workshops learning how to preserve nature and its ecosystems. Also scheduled are many workshop activities, guided tours of Corporea the Interactive Museum of the Human Body, the Insects & Co. exhibit, the temporary Anthropocene exhibit and spectacular astronomy shows at the Planetarium.
