Città della Scienza participated in the international mission on the occasion of the Montalcini Global Biotech Tour 2025, the prestigious forum dedicated to medical and scientific biotechnology promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and by theICE Agency, in collaboration with theEmbassy of Italy in Doha, Qatar (April 16-17).
The event will feature a rich program of Italian and Qatari institutional speakers and experts, focusing on opportunities for collaboration, economic-trade exchange, joint research and investment between Italy and Qatar, with the aim of fostering a constructive and mutually beneficial dialogue.
Città della Scienza takes part in this important institutional mission featuring the Minister of Health, Orazio Schillaci, the Ambassador of Italy to Qatar, Paolo Toschi, and a delegation composed of more than 30 Italian research centers that will meet with as many Qatari scientific and academic entities.

Presenting the Città della Scienza model in such an innovative context as Qatar, with the support of the Italian Embassy and ICE – which organized this event in an excellent way – fills us with enthusiasm and pride. The presence of the Minister of Health underlines the strategic importance of the mission and confirms the validity of our participation.
It is crucial for our community to open up to international comparison, share expertise and export our format. Listening to the strategies of a country that presents itself as a hub of innovation allows us to grow and develop further.
