II Edition of the Naples Ambassador Program Award: Naples honors its Ambassadors

In the prestigious Hall of the Loggia of the Maschio Angioino in Naples, the 2nd edition of the Naples Ambassador Program (NAP) was held, conceived and organized by the Convention Bureau Napoli (CBN), under the patronage of the City of Naples, Convention Bureau Italia and IKL / Italian Knowledge Leaders.

After greetings from CBN President Alfonso Scuotto, eight representatives from academia were honored and, for the first time, two congressional venues as well.

“The Ambassador Program,” explains CBN director Giovanna Lucherini, “was created with the aim of identifying and rewarding personalities in the city who have distinguished themselves in the scientific, cultural, economic or institutional spheres and who can become spokespeople for the destination Naples and represent it as the perfect venue for major national and international events.

“The event was organized on a date that was not coincidental ,” Giovanna Lucherini continues, “We have, in fact, decided to coincide the ambassadors’ award ceremony with the celebrations of GMID Global Meetings Industry Day, in order to highlight, more and more, the importance, for the local and global economy, of the M.I.C.E.
