From 8 October 2025 to 11 January 2026 From 8 October 2025 to 11 January 2026
The ARACHNIDA exhibition, dedicated to the amazing world of spiders, will be open to the public from Wednesday 8 October 2025. Spiders, scorpions, ticks, mites… let’s be honest: they are certainly not the most beloved animals. In fact, they often arouse fear or disgust. But are we sure that such an attitude is justified? These inhabitants of our planet, belonging to the class of Arachnids, have been victims of prejudice and legends for centuries. Yet, if we try to approach them with curiosity and with the help of science, we discover a vast and fascinating world of extraordinary behaviours and adaptations. This is precisely the aim of the scientific exhibition “ARACHNIDA – The secret charm of spiders and scorpions”: to offer a new perspective on these animals. An adventure through nature, science, photography and culture, designed for everyone.
Conceived and curated by Aracnofilia – Associazione Italiana di Aracnologia APS (Italian Arachnology Association), the exhibition also offers a series of events and workshops aimed at different age groups. It is an opportunity to discover the secrets of spiders in an engaging and entertaining way, through workshops, games and animated tours.
