The Science Centre at Città della Scienza is Italy’s first interactive science museum. A place for experimentation, learning, fun, meeting and constructive dialogue with science and technology. Science centers, widespread all over the world, are places for visiting, science education, cultural tourism, whose philosophy is based on interactivity and direct experimentation with natural phenomena and technologies.
The Science Center at Città della Scienza is an important tool for education and dissemination of scientific culture through exhibitions, meetings with scientists, campaigns and activities promoting science and technology, as well as smart fun for the whole family.
Currently, the Science Center’s exhibition areas consist of: Corporea, the Interactive Museum of the Human Body; Insects & Co, an exhibition entirely dedicated to the world of insects; the Planetarium, among the largest and most advanced planetariums in Europe; and Temporary Exhibitions that are renewed annually.
In addition, the Science Center is enriched with laboratory spaces where all activities dedicated to families and schools are carried out in the weekly programming.

Visitors are reminded that payment of the ticket only guarantees admission to the exhibition areas of Città della Scienza. All other activities offered to the public (Planetarium, guided tours, meetings, etc.) are available if necessary upon payment, reservation and in any case on the basis of the places actually available. The bracelet, delivered at the time of ticket purchase, must be worn and allows access to the exhibitions and buildings of Città della Scienza; it must be kept on the wrist during the entire stay; in the absence of the bracelet, access is no longer allowed.
