Opening of the Quantum Nexus Exhibition

Event date is unavailable.

On the occasion of the International Year of Quantum Physics 2025, the Quantum Nexus exhibition will be inaugurated on Wednesday, April 9, at Città della Scienza: an interactive, immersive and interdisciplinary exhibition designed to bring the general public closer to the revolutionary principles of quantum physics and its applications in areas such as computation, security, medicine and communication of the future, created by Città della Scienza in collaboration with theEudora Association and leading research institutions and universities in Campania.

The Exhibition will enable a wide audience of visitors and especially young people to take an educational journey into quantum physics and the second quantum revolution by experiencing live demonstrators of quantum technologies and real simulators, interactive quantum algorithms and advanced instrumentation presented directly by some of the leading international companies in the field.

At the opening, which will be held at 9:20 a.m., institutional greetings are scheduled from Campania Region President Vincenzo De Luca, by the Chancellor of the University of Salerno Vincenzo Loia, of the Rector of the University of Naples Federico II. Matteo Lorito and the President of the Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza Riccardo Villari.

In the morning, the conference “Quantum Nexus: a journey in quantum science and technologies” will be held, featuring talks by Fondazione IDIS President – Città della Scienza Prof. Riccardo Villari, Dr. Berardo Ruggiero and by Prof. Paolo Silvestrini of the Eudora Association, scientific organizers of the event.

In the afternoon, the Workshop dedicated to Applications of Second Generation Quantum Technologies will be held with the participation of many national and international companies (Amazon, Leonardo, SeeQc, QuantWare, QuantumValley, Classicq, IonQ, Leiden, Photonic Technologies, etc etc) that support researchers in laboratories in their “quantum” research.

Quantum Nexus is an opportunity to touch upon the future of science through direct dialogue with researchers, technologists, popularizers, and representatives of industry and academia.
