World Oceans Day
Where does our waste go? Unfortunately, the one immense final collector is the sea. The oceans teem not only with biodiversity, but also with an “alien” kind of biodiversity-the waste products of our civilization: waste of all kinds. It is with the goal of protecting the oceans that World Oceans Day (which falls on June 8) was born, and we at Città della Scienza are also looking forward to diving into these blue seas with many educational and fun science activities!
