April 21-22, 2017: Participation in the seminar Emptying the Arsenals, Building Peace, organized by the Science City Study Center with communication by Laura Franchini and Silvana von Arx, Berta von Suttner and Alfred Nobel: from a chance encounter to the Nobel Peace Prize.

May 26, 2017: event for Remote Future 2017 Conference LIVING (WELL) IN 2030. Quality of Life Scenarios. Organized by AIQUAV – the Italian Association on Quality of Life, the Italian Institute for the Future, the Association of Friends of Città della Scienza, and ASVIS, the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development -as part of the World Sustainable Development Week- , the conference aims to take stock of the coming scenarios, with particular reference to our country, its strengths and weaknesses.

October 2017-March 2018: Participation in the reading cycle Beyond the Two Cultures co-organized together with the National Library of Naples, the University of Naples “Federico II”, and the IDIS Città della Scienza Foundation.
