Città della Scienza is recognized as an “NGO in official relations with UNESCO” with which it collaborates in operational projects and in study and reflection activities. Every November 10, Città della Scienza is the venue for the UNESCO-sponsored Science Day for Peace and Development around the world.

ECSITE

This is the European network of Science Centers and Science Museums, bringing together more than 450 organizations engaged in science communication for active participation of all citizens in scientific and technological development.

EBN –European Business Network

It is the network of certified Business Innovation Centers in Europe (innovation agencies, incubators, accelerators) that support the development and growth of innovative entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs.

ASTC – Associationof Scienceand Technology Centers

This is the North American organization that enhances the action of Science Centers and Science Museums by promoting professional support and networking activities in the field of education, museology and science communication.

ICOM – International Council of Museums

This is the international organization of museums and museum professionals committed to preserving, ensuring continuity and communicating the value of the world’s cultural and natural heritage, current and future, tangible and intangible. Founded in 1946, ICOM brings together more than 30,000 members on 5 continents.

Design for All – Italy

This is the network of cultural organizations that promote inclusive and holistic design, which values the specificities of everyone, involving human diversity in the design process.

ANMS – Associazione Nazionali Musei ScientificiNaturali

The association promotes the dissemination of scientific museology and its role in the community in Italy, fostering communication and collaboration among the institutions and operators involved.

HANDS ON! EUROPE – International Association of Childrens in Museums

It is the network that supports the role of children’s museums in Europe as places that stimulate their curiosity and imagination, where play encourages creativity and informal learning.

FAL – Anna Lindh Federation– Italy

It is a federation of institutions that aims to promote, support and implement cultural and social interaction between Italy and the Euro-Mediterranean countries. The non-profit federation shares the aims of the “Anna Lindh Foundation” created in 2004 by the European Commission for Dialogue in the Mediterranean.

Is the European association of institutions and professionals involved in organizing science festivals and science communication events.

CNR – National Research Council

Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza has been collaborating (already since 2011 and again) since 2018 with the National Research Council in order to undertake joint research, training and technology transfer initiatives at the Campania, national and international levels.

INFN – National Instituteof Nuclear Physics

La Città della Scienza has been collaborating with INFN for many years in developing activities to disseminate scientific culture with special reference to INFN’s research fields, both locally and nationally.

Laocoon Project

Sixteen municipalities in the Alto Casertano area, from Sessa Aurunca to Calvi Risorta, form a Consortium Company, specializing in the recovery of financial sources and the enhancement of the system of cultural heritage, promote the rehabilitation and enhancement, of the historic centers of the municipalities participating in the project and, in general, of the historic areas, upgrading the urban fabric and restoring the attractive-tourist capacity that is theirs as places of culture of special historical, artistic, architectural and environmental interest.
This is the Laocoon Project: a fine example of collaboration for development that enhances territorial realities.
And it is with this in mind that, thanks to the signed Agreement, Città della Scienza will actively cooperate in its implementation.

CIRN – Inter-University Research Center for Neuroscience

Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza and the Inter-University Research Center for Neuroscience – CIRN have been collaborating since 2017 to implement joint initiatives aimed at the dissemination of scientific and technological culture, with particular reference to scientific environments pertaining to research in the medical field and health protection; to the implementation of exhibition and popularization activities, concerning health and prevention; to the implementation of research projects in the medical field and health protection; to the research, curation and development of interactive exhibits, exhibitions, educational and communication activities.

Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production
of the University of Naples

The Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza, has been collaborating since 2016 with the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production of the University of Naples Federico II, in the implementation of educational activities related to the themes of healthy and proper nutrition; in the realization of exhibitions, conferences, workshops and various initiatives having themes of common interest.

Hybrid Design Lab

Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza and Hybrid Design Lab are collaborating to develop projects on the themes of design and science, create innovative science exhibits, implement educational innovation actions in the field of industrial and craft manufacturing to promote digitization as a tool for growth and competitiveness for science museums.

Real Sito di Carditello Foundation

Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza has been collaborating since January 2019 with the Fondazione Real Sito di Carditello for the development of partnerships and projects on the topics of science and innovation, local development and social participation in choices in the field of sustainable development; promotion of the qualitative, nutritional and peculiar values of agri-food excellence; and promotion of joint initiatives for the enhancement of the heritage of cultural assets.

Department of Architecture of the University of Roma Tre

Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza and the Department of Architecture of the University of Roma Tre are collaborating on the establishment of a network between local Fab-Labs in order to experiment with innovative ways of managing public spaces in the City of Caserta and the entire Campania basin, in the spirit of the “Open Source Park” project. The collaboration involves the joint conduct of analysis, feasibility studies, co-design workshops, verification tests and everything functional to the realization of a design prototype.

Italian Farmers Union

Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza collaborates with Unione Coltivatori Italiani to create partnerships and projects on the issues of cultural heritage enhancement, through the Culture Create Measure announced by Invitalia, enhancement of research and innovation in the Agricultural and Agrifood sectors, and internationalization of agricultural and food and wine enterprises.

University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”

On May 13, a partnership was signed between Fondazione IDIS – Città della Scienza and the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” in order to initiate processes of collaboration, connection and integration of skills in the field of fashion and design. In particular, it is planned to organize promotional activities, exchanges of experiences, initiatives and events for the enhancement of cultural and socio-economic resources in the above-mentioned fields.

F.I.L.A. – Fabbrica Italianaed Affini

F.I.L.A. Fabbrica Italiana ed Affini, an iconic company in the world of color and Città della Scienza in Naples, sign from 2019 and also for 2023 an important cultural partnership. A union based on the common commitment to give attention to the new generations by offering the best tools for their emotional and intellectual growth, through innovative approaches that place creativity at the center. A collaboration that sees GIOTTO, the company’s love brand, take the field as the Official Color of all Educational Activities of Città della Scienza. A journey to discover the wonders of science where edutainment marries active experimentation, the primary union of the Science Centre, Italy’s first interactive science museum.

Berne Milk
In continuation of the partnership established in 2023, Città della Scienza and Latte Ber na further strengthen the partnership through activities designed and implemented by Città della Scienza specifically for Latte Berna, targeting an audience of families and students between the ages of 8 and 13.

Caffè Borbone

Città della Scienza and Caffè Borbone, one of the best-known manufacturers of the made-in-Italy coffee (which comes from a blend of the best coffees found in nature) have defined a partership from November 2021 to July 2022, and again through 2023. The “Borbone Kids Lab” project is born: a series of play and educational workshops for children to learn how to recycle and reuse raw materials. Two appointments per month, scheduled on already scheduled weekends, and a whole weekend dedicated, throughout the year, with the aim of raising awareness among young participants on “good practices” of recycling according to the principles of sustainability and environmental protection using used pods or capsules of Caffè Borbone.

GIFFAS – Ente Morale ONLUS

Fondazione IDIS-Città della Scienza and GIFFAS Ente Morale ONLUS cooperate to develop joint cultural, environmental, territorial and social projects and to validate training and innovation activities in the field of social rehabilitation.

Invitalia

It is the National Development Agency, owned by the Ministry of Economy. It boosts the country’s economic growth, targets strategic sectors for development and employment, is involved in the revitalization of crisis areas, and operates mainly in the South. It manages all national incentives that encourage the creation of new businesses and innovative startups. It finances projects large and small, targeting entrepreneurs with concrete development plans, especially in innovative and high value-added sectors.

Community Educational Pact” with the City of San Giorgio a Cremano

Community Educational Pact between the City of San Giorgio a Cremano, Fondazione Idis – Città della Scienza, BIMED, the A.S.L. NAPOLI 3 SUD, the Forum of Nonprofit Associations of the City of San Giorgio a Cremano and the heads of some educational institutions and other cultural and social entities. The objective, is to create a supportive educational network, based on the individual skills and specificities of the partners involved, with the coordination of the Regional Laboratory City of Children and Girls.
