Scouting and SponsorshipService
The Scouting and Sponsorship service offered by Fondazione IDIS – Città della Scienza focuses on identifying and acquiring financial resources, creating opportunities for growth both nationally and internationally. One of the main activities is the active search for funds and financing from public and private entities. This includes identifying opportunities related to European Union funds, ministerial calls, foundation initiatives and private sponsors, with a focus on areas relevant to the Foundation’s mission.
The process involves a preliminary analysis phase for each funding opportunity, in which a pre-feasibility assessment is drafted that includes a summary of the call for proposals. This document provides details on requirements, constraints, budget, and how to participate, ensuring that the Foundation can operate in an informed and strategic manner.
Another crucial aspect of the service is the scouting activity to identify and enhance innovative ideas by searching for potential business partners. This activity aims to facilitate the launch of new business opportunities, stimulating the Foundation’s growth and expansion. In addition, a targeted search is conducted to find sponsors that align with the Foundation’s institutional image and mission, ensuring effective and lasting synergies.
Sponsorship management involves negotiating with potential sponsors, establishing contractual agreements, and organizing sponsored activities. It is essential to constantly monitor the effectiveness of agreements, taking care of communication with sponsors and providing detailed reports on the results of activities carried out, so as to ensure an optimal return on investment.
Finally, the service includes support for budgeting and its implementation in administrative management systems. Periodic reporting on the return index of sponsorship activities provides senior management with the necessary tools to assess the effectiveness of initiatives and plan future actions, contributing to the economic sustainability and long-term growth of the Foundation.

The Campania Sea District
The Campania Sea District was created to become a reference point for the blue economy in Campania, uniting businesses, universities, research, local and educational institutions. The project, signed in 2022, aims to create a hub to support startups and SMEs in the marine and maritime sector, attract investment for tourism and maritime services, develop educational opportunities and disseminate scientific knowledge.
Promoted by the Campania Region, the district is part of a context in which the blue economy contributes significantly to regional GDP and employment. The initiative focuses on sectors such as maritime transport, coastal tourism, fisheries, aquaculture, marine renewable energy, and blue biotechnology, in line with the “EU Blue Economy Report” and regional RIS3 strategies.
