That is why, from 2019, we are proud to be their partner. Together we have built a path where color, manual skills and play are intertwined with scientific discovery. A bond that, which started with the GIOTTO brand, Official Color of educational activities, has been enriched with the arrival of DidòLabs, an exclusive format born from our play dough in an extra-large version. Bringing this experience to Naples, in a reality of excellence like Città della Scienza, represents for us at FILA the opportunity to consolidate a bond with the territory.” declares Orietta Casazza, Marketing Director of F.I.L.A. – Fabbrica Italiana Lapis ed Affini.

“The collaboration with FILA represents a shared path of growth for Città della Scienza, perfectly in line with our mission to make science accessible and engaging from an early age. The DidòLabs embody this spirit, transforming play into a powerful educational tool. This year, the exploration of the universe, inspired by our Planetarium, offers the cue to ignite scientific curiosity and creativity in children ages 3 to 6, a crucial age for laying the foundation for learning and wonder at the world around us. It is an experience that not only stimulates the little ones, but also enhances the weekend’s offerings and consolidates important partnerships such as the one with FILA.” pointed out Riccardo Villari, president of Città della Scienza.

A workshop to learn by playing
In addition to manual skills and imagination, DidòLabs will provide an opportunity to answer scientific questions such as, “Why can’t we see the stars during the day?”, “Why does the moon change shape?” in a simple and engaging way. The explanations, by the popularizers of Città della Scienza, will turn every curiosity into an opportunity for discovery.

A curiosity
The maxi-pots of Didò come from the FILA factory in Rufina (FI), where the legendary play dough, made with a natural formula based on flour, water and salt, has been taking shape since 1984.
