Citt\u00e0 della Scienza participates in the 2025 edition of Maggio dei Monumenti<\/strong>, the historic cultural event promoted by the City of Naples<\/strong><\/em>, which this year takes place from May 2 to June 1<\/em><\/strong> with the theme “Naples, burning heart, enlightened mind,”<\/em> dedicated to the element of fire.<\/p>\n\n

On the weekends of May 3-4 and May 24-25<\/strong>, Citt\u00e0 della Scienza offers two weekends full of activities for families and children, with workshops, guided tours and shows at the Planetarium. <\/p>\n\n

May 3-4: World Astronomy Day.<\/mark><\/strong> On the occasion of World Astronomy Day<\/strong>, the program includes shows at the Planetarium, thematic workshops on space, and observations of the Sun through the telescope. <\/p>\n\n

Special Event – May 17, 5:30 p.m.<\/mark>“O Sole mio: on a journey through the solar system starting here” with Caroladiv\u00f9<\/strong>An exciting narrative journey among the planets, discovering the most fascinating phenomena of our Solar System: ice volcanoes, perpetual storms, methane atmospheres and a very special planet where life developed… Earth!<\/p>\n\n

May 24-25: World Biodiversity<\/strong> Day To celebrate World Biodiversity Day, creative workshops are planned to learn how to preserve nature and its ecosystems. <\/p>\n\n

During both weekends, it will be possible to take part in guided tours of the Corporea Museum, the “Insects & Co.” exhibition, the temporary “Anthropocene” exhibition, and attend astronomical shows at the Planetarium. <\/p>\n\n
