Spiders, scorpions, ticks, mites… let’s be honest: they are certainly not the most beloved animals. In fact, they often arouse fear or disgust. But are we sure that such an attitude is justified? These inhabitants of our planet, belonging to the class of Arachnids, have been victims of prejudice and legends for centuries. Yet, if we try to approach them with curiosity and with the help of science, we discover a vast and fascinating world of extraordinary behaviours and adaptations. This is precisely the aim of the scientific exhibition “ARACHNIDA – The secret charm of spiders and scorpions”: to offer a new perspective on these animals.
