Bruno LENZI
Biomedical Expert
Bruno Lenzi is electronic engineering education with particular attitude in the biomedical field. He has worked on artificial intelligence and life extension. Founder of the Open BioMedical, a global initiative to support the nonprofit biomedical activity of online collaborative design and distribution of low-cost, open source and 3D printable medical technologies . Science communicator at national media (RAI-3, Italia 1, national and trade press), he has joined several conferences in quality of speaker (Banca Mediolanum, Progress) and realized numerous publications. He received awards such as Marche Engineering Prize 2010 and the Innovation Award in 2014.
He organized the first European Summit Singularity Ray Kurzweil. He recently won the hackaton H-FARM/MERCK with a game on virtual reality for children with cancer and he supports open source, maker movement and the use of modern technology to improve society.
In D.RE.A.M. FabLab he deals with production and realization of biomedical devices (prostheses), tutor for biomedical and open innovation training, design and construction of exhibits, research.
