Emme School 2017 started officially today in Città della Scienza!
In day 1 Hoda Elmikaty, Deputy Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina, focused on science centres as places of dialogue and inclusion. “When children come to our science centres – Elmikaty said – we need to convey to them the means to a more humane and sustainable society”.
Brigitte Coutant, Ecsite Honorary Fellow, explained to participants how Strategic planning is a key asset for science centres.
Pasquale Russiello and Mariangela Contursi held a workshop about financial planning within a science centre.
Furthermore participants, alongside Città della Scienza staff, visited Corporea museum, Campania NewSteel Incubator and D.RE.A.M. FabLab.
