The exhibition displays the 40 best posters selected from the over 500 contributions sent by young Italian and German graphic designers on the occasion of a competition organized by the Goethe-Institut for students and young talents with the aim of bringing the theme of the bicycle to the fore, and is part of a large project on sustainable mobility, the traffic revolution and cycling in the city and everywhere.

On display, as foreseen by the competition, the 2 winners will be present, one for each of the categories “In Formation” and “Young Talents” and also the 20 best Italian posters and the 20 best German posters.

The initiative is part of the international bike exhibition “#Bike_it” which Città della Scienza hosts until April 2020 which tells the innovations of the bike from its birth to the present day and which, will be displayed at Canada Science and Technology Ottawa Museum.

The bike is the means of the future. It is fast, light, keeps you fit and takes you everywhere. The development and avant-garde of contemporary cities can be measured not on the basis of the quantity of cars in circulation but on the use of public transport and bicycles; its use, therefore, becomes increasingly a necessity.
