Chemistry time! 1st and 2nd February 2020 at Museum

Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd February in Città della Scienza we will deepen the importance and usefulness of the scientific discipline that falls within the sphere of Chemistry.

Chemistry is the science that studies the composition of matter and its behavior based on this composition also defined as “the central science because it connects the other natural sciences, such as astronomy, physics, material sciences, biology and geology.
It rules the mechanisms of our body allowing us to live and perform our daily functions; it is the basis of complex environmental balances … And the technology we commonly use also involves the interaction between different chemical elements! Let’s find out all this in this weekend you  will get crazy for chemistry with laboratories and scientific demonstrations!
Among the activities we point out The themed activities are: “There is Chemistry!”: A scientific study during the guided visit to Corporea exhibition to discover the biological (and genetic) basis of “chemistry” among lovers behind the expression “Between us there is chemistry!” referring to that feeling of pleasure and affinity between two people; “Modeling Molecules!” A fun laboratory to understand what a molecule is, the most common and to join atoms in bonds! “The Bingo of Chemistry” the periodic table of Mendeleev’s elements as has never been seen with lots of gadgets . “Escape Room- The Periodic Table” in the laboratory of a mysterious scientist follow the clues, solve the puzzles and carry out the experiments that will be proposed to you. Remember, you can only leave the room if you complete the periodic table of elements. An activity dedicated to this extraordinary discovery which consists of a revisited ESCAPE ROOM.

As always, it will be possible to carry out guided visits to Corporea the interactive museum on the human body and to the exhibitions Mare, Paleomare, Insetti & Co, Bike_it.
